Mikel Romero is a freelance photographer from Mungia, although he works mainly in Bilbao, since he has his studio in Zorroza. When he left high school he studied photography and design at the School of Design in Vitoria (IDarte) and then did a Master's degree at the CFC in Bilbao to specialize in fashion and advertising photography. Apart from this, during the years of the pandemic he was trained in a slightly different field to grow artistically, not so much technically, taking a photography and contemporary art course organized by Helena Goñi. His work is mainly fashion or commercial but he loves working personally with something more critical and personal.
