On the one hand, it’s that final toast you make when almost everything has already been said, but there’s still something worth celebrating. On the other, it’s what pushes us forward, what encourages us to keep going. That’s why, just like a couple of years ago, this closing called for another Espuela.

A new vintage of our curated vermouth: the stories-format fanzine we’ve been serving on Instagram for years to share what inspires us, and which, in this special edition, also becomes an excuse to look inward and take stock of the year.

Because 2025 has been intense. A year of projects, decisions, trying new things and refining others. Apps, websites, campaigns, social media, content, digital processes and brands that have gradually taken shape. All of that is lived with the team —the people who make Workoholics from the inside— and also with those on the other side: the people behind the brands we work with.

Clients, collaborators, suppliers… in short, people with whom we share goals, budgets, timings, ideas that fall apart and others that work better than expected. In the end, projects only come together when there’s trust, when the process is understood and when teamwork really happens.

Espuela is, ultimately, a small archive of the year. An imperfect and honest summary of what passed through the agency in 2025, built from the photos and videos that have appeared in our day-to-day and ended up, like almost everything else, in the Workoholics WhatsApp group. Moments that were never meant to be content, but that say far more about who we are and our culture than any polished presentation or well-rehearsed speech.

For 2026, we hope to keep working on projects that help brands grow digitally, keep learning together, and keep surrounding ourselves with people with good judgment, sensitivity and the drive to make things happen.

If you feel like joining us in this toast, stop by and take a look at Espuela: This was our 2025.

Cheers. 🍸
