The transformation of the Official Website and the “Members' Txoko” (private area) goes beyond a technical improvement of the experience at a technical level. It is part of a strategy of the Club to strengthen the connection with the community, adapting to its needs and the way they interact with the entity.
A perfect alignment, also on mobile
Athletic Club needed to update its official website to respond to a reality demonstrated by data: almost 80% of access to the site is done through mobile devices. Beyond creating an accessible experience adapted to this situation, the main challenge was to increase interaction and connection with a constantly growing and increasingly diversified base of followers, taking advantage of all the potential offered by the latest technologies.
The last major update of the club's website was in 2017 and, since then, both the services and the content have changed considerably. This gave rise to the need to have a more adaptable and scalable platform, to rethink the organization of information and to develop more intuitive navigation, especially on mobile devices.

The project in the “Members' Txoko” (private area of the website) focuses on increasing member satisfaction, strengthening their bond with the club and promoting their participation through personalized services.
Comprehensive redesign with a modular architecture
The redesign of the Athletic Club website includes a holistic review, both at the level of technological infrastructure and interface design. This includes the implementation of a modular architecture that facilitates future extensions and updates to the site. The distribution of information has also been reorganized to make it more accessible, and technical aspects such as loading speed and the integration of new interactive modules have been improved. The collaboration on the project between Athletic Club's Digital and Technology areas has been permanent, forming a joint working team to guarantee the success of the project.

A personalised experience for every Athletic fan
The Members' Txoko, the private section of the website, has been completely revamped to provide a more personalised and clearer experience, while maintaining its essence in order to avoid friction for existing users within the application. This update not only includes the interface, but also expands the services available, such as viewing stadium attendance or participation in club activities or initiatives, making it easier for members to manage their needs efficiently and securely from any device.
The launch of this project comes at a historic moment of celebration for the team and its fans, with the club winning its 25th Copa del Rey and celebrating its 125th anniversary.
Highlights among the new features include a dynamic home page that enriches the match day experience, an extensive and accessible statistics section, and new sections that bring together all the latest news and history of a club with millions of followers thanks to its unique philosophy.
Simplicity and efficiency in design
The new interface and user experience have been designed with a focus on usability, allowing users to navigate and find content easily, with fewer clicks. In addition, the aesthetics of the site have been modernized to reflect the club's visual identity, maintaining optimal performance on all devices and screen sizes.
Given the high access from mobile devices, the optimization of the mobile experience has been prioritized. To do so, multiple tests have been carried out on different mobile platforms to guarantee a consistent display and functionality, ensuring that each element of the website was accessible and behaved efficiently with regard to mobile data usage.
