A day in Barcelona and a Bronze Laus for the best app
A few weeks ago, part of the Worköholics team attended the Laus Awards ceremony in Barcelona. Receiving the Bronze Laus 2024 in the non-transactional application category for the ZEID Fest app is a significant milestone for a project that continues to bring us joy.
We understand the Laus Awards as a fantastic space for meeting and celebrating within our sector. As an agency, we feel part of what we might call “the digital industry,” even though the lines between online and offline are blurring, and what continues to stand out, also in this new edition of the Nit ADG Laus, is the concept, experience, and action of communicating effectively.
The Laus Awards gala is always quite a high-level party, and this year it was heavier than ever 🤘. The energy the event radiates motivates us to keep working, creating better projects, with the hope of returning every year. From here, a special mention to all the northern agencies and studios that were awarded, with whom we were able to share space-time-vice-beer.
It seems we're not too bad at creating apps
In the ZEID Fest app case study, we already discussed the details of this project. However, the most exciting part is that this application is evolving, becoming the embryo of something much bigger. Without the prior experience with Kirolapp, we would not have been able to develop the ZEID app, nor Ubikare, which also received the Bronze Laus in 2023, in this case, in the mobile device user experience category. And it doesn’t stop here… we are now brewing (attention hype) something truly Massive that is yet to come.
The key is to listen, understand, and create value
All these projects share a working methodology based on a deep understanding of the brand’s needs, people, usage contexts, and the value contribution of these digital experiences. But they are also the result of our expertise in the technical development of hybrid applications, allowing us to create increasingly powerful digital products.
We will see what the coming months bring us. With a bit of luck and good work, we hope to see each other again at the Laus 2025.
See you next time! 🔥
